Keerimalai Mineral Springs

On the northern coast, where fresh spring water meets the sea, the Keerimalai Mineral Springs have drawn pilgrims and bathers for centuries. The mineral-rich pools, which local belief says have healing properties, are a lively and very local place, with families and friends bathing together beside the steps.

The springs are about a 28-minute drive, roughly 15.5 km, from Ratnagiri Heritage Home Stay and sit right beside the Naguleswaram Temple, so the two are easily visited together. Come early to avoid the midday heat and bring a towel and a change of clothes if you plan to bathe.
