Mantri Manai

Mantri Manai, known as the Minister’s Abode, is a historic residence associated with the ministers of the Jaffna Kingdom. Its Dravidian-style architecture, arched gateway and preserved walls offer a rare look at how the northern elite once lived, and it stands quietly in open grounds that invite a slow wander.

It is about a 10-minute drive, roughly 4.3 km, from Ratnagiri Heritage Home Stay, and sits close to the statue of King Sangiliyan and the Nallur Kandaswamy Temple, so the three make an easy half-day of royal Jaffna.
