Thondamanaru Selva Sannithi Murugan Temple

The Thondamanaru Selva Sannithi Murugan Temple is a revered shrine to Lord Murugan, known for its centuries-old rituals and for keeping Tamil Hindu traditions very much alive in daily practice. It is a place to experience worship as it is lived in the north, away from the busier tourist circuit.

The temple is about a 37-minute drive, roughly 19.5 km, from Ratnagiri Heritage Home Stay. Visit in the morning or evening when the poojas take place, dress modestly, remove your footwear and ask before photographing inside the shrine.
